The quality of teachers is very important to us here at Stepping Stone Day School. To ensure that your child has only the best teachers and staff, we screen all applicants thoroughly. We check references,  and obtain in-depth background checks, all staff must be trained specifically in Infant, Child and Adult CPR as well as First Aid. In addition, each staff member should also obtain a food handler's card. 

We don't just hire individuals looking for work.  We hire special people who have the desire, training, and background to ensure that your child learns and feels valued.

Our dedicated teachers must also maintain fifteen hours of continuing education a year as well. Our teachers and staff take full advantage of continuing education relevant to childcare and are in compliance with jurisdictional requirements.  We don't stop there however.  We continually train and motivate our teachers and staff to be the very best!
